I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ72 I think it’s a really good starter camera and it’s easy to change the settings. It can record full HD video at 1080p. It can zoom up to 60 times optical zoom. And if the round wheel with the settings is on iA mode (Intelligent auto) it can go up to 120 times optical zoom. It can also do Continuous shooting: up to 9 frames per second at full resolution.
